The Hospitals of Providence are recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review for cutting edge cancer treatment prevention and research based on clinical accolades, quality care and contributions to the field of oncology.

2013 Tenet Clinical Innovation Award

The University Campus was one of the four Tenet hospitals across the nation to receive this award, recognizing its commitment to safety, quality and service.

Chest Pain Reaccreditation

The Sierra Campus was evaluated and reaccredited by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care for its ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients who experience a heart attack.

MAKOplasty®

The Sierra Campus was the first health care provider in El Paso to provide MAKOplasty®, an innovative robotic procedure that allows surgeons to partially resurface the arthritic portion of the knee while preserving healthy bone and tissue, relieving pain, restoring range of motion, and decreasing recovery time.

THOP Circle of Excellence Award

The East Campus received this award for the second time in a row for excelling in the areas of patient, physician and employee satisfaction, clinical quality, financial performance, and ability to perform consistently and approach challenges in innovative ways.

Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Performance in Environmental Compliance

The University Campus was awarded this certificate by the Industrial Pretreatment Section of the El Paso Water Utilities for 100% compliance with the Rules and Regulations of the Industrial Pretreatment Program during the 2011-2012 pretreatment year.

Bariatric Center of Excellence

The Sierra Campus meets all clinical qualifications and maintains a cost effective contract for participation in the Center of Excellence Network, resulting in its continued certification as Bariatric Center of Excellence.

Healthgrades 2013 Maternity Care Excellence Award

The Sierra Campus was given this award for superior clinical outcomes in the care provided to mothers and babies during and after childbirth.

Daisy Award

The Sierra Campus’ outpatient department was nominated for a Daisy Award, a recognition that celebrates extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care by nurses in the field.

Lifeline Bronze Receiving Quality Achievement Award
