Humberto Balderrama, FNP-C received his degree of Medical Surgeon from Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez in 2001 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and worked in three different hospitals. He provided in-patient and outpatient services in children, adolescences, and adults. Humberto assisted surgeons during surgical procedures in many different types of surgeries. He worked as the doctor in charge of Emergency Department. He performed obstetrical care before, during and after pregnancy and worked in labor and delivery. Humberto worked for ten years with Dr. Roberto Canales, M.D. Pediatrician as a clinician assistant with a strong drive and dedication to the care of children in El Paso, TX.
Humberto completed the Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center "Gayle Grave Hunt School of Nursing" in El Paso, TX and worked for three years as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Oncology department at The Hospitals of Providence East Campus. He received his degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017 at Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX and worked for one and a half years in Centro San Vicente as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Iam overwhelmed with the kindness of Dr Balderama, his great bedside manner is hard to describe. He took the time to calm my fears, explain my illness and listen to my concerns. My appointment was one that reassured me that my primary care provider referred me to a caring gastroenterologist group. I have referred him to some of my family and friends who have similar issues like mine. Dr. Ramirez whom I'm referred to and have not met yet has a great Nurse Practioner whom I look forward too seeing, and receiving care from.
