If we could rate Dr. Taleb higher than a 5 we would definitely do so. This doctor was part of team at UMC taking care of my beloved mother while performing a stent. I remember all those doctors attending her. So when my brother ended up in the hospital I recognized Dr. Taleb immediately. I already knew my brother with special needs was nervous being in the er but I assured him that he was in great hands explaining to him that this was one of our beloved mother's doctors when she was in the hospital. The nurse/assistant took my vitals and then let me know that my blood pressure was high and ask if I missed a dose or something else. I said no, and she said okay.Next, she told me she was going to give me an EKG and had me take off my shirt and lie down. She then told me that she would shave me if she needed to, but she didn't need to. As she placed the probes on me, she was very careful with their placement and then removal. When she was finished, she had me get up and put my shirt back on and told me we were finished. She then walked me to the next waiting room.Overall, I thought she was a GREAT nurse/assistant!

A series of medical activities occurred before I saw Dr. Teleb. Prior to our 8/8/22 appointment I had been referred to Providence Memorial Hospital by a MedPost Urgent care physician assistant for confirmation of presumed Atrial Fibrillation. The ER physician at Providence rejected that and diagnosed Community Acquired Pneumonia. Subsequent visit to my Primary Care Physician confirmed that I do not have "AFib". Dr. Teleb, whom I regard highly, recommended that I receive a "Watchman" implant and referred me to a physician for that procedure. Upon reflection, I have decided to reserve judgement and ask for other opinions: from my PCP and from my Emory University Hospital cardiologist. I am a 10 year post liver transplant patient at Emory.Presently, I am waiting for responses from my PCP and from Emory.
