Welcome to the Office of Medical Education

We currently welcome medical students, residents/fellows, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and certified registered nurse anesthetists to our campuses for educational experiences. Our Transmountain Campus was built as our network’s teaching hospital.

We are excited to continue building on that experience and embark on a mission to address the physician shortages in the El Paso Community. We are committed to the development of a state of the art graduate medical education program. We anticipate accreditation of our initial programs to be April 2020, so we can actively recruit for residents to start July 1, 2021. We have entered into a collaborative agreement with Texas Tech University Health Science Center El Paso to engage in this exciting adventure.
