A stroke occurs when the blood supply to part of your brain is interrupted or reduced, preventing brain tissue from getting oxygen and nutrients. Brain cells begin to die in minutes.

Anderson, Chief Executive Officer for The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus. “Our team remains committed to providing stroke patients advanced treatment and care to give them the greatest chance of recovery.”
