2017 Healthy Over Hungry Cereal Drive is Huge Success

The Hospitals of Providence is very pleased to announce that along with help from amazing community partners, a collection of 391,297 servings of cereal and $3,725 in cash donations for the 2017 “Healthy over Hungry” cereal drive were made! After receiving an additional donation from Tenet Healthcare, a total monetary donation was made to El Pasoans Fighting hunger of $5,625.38. All the donations collected were distributed during the summer to children who depend on the school system for meals.
The Hospitals of Providence truly appreciates the enthusiastic participation of the employees and community partners in this initiative to help those struggling with hunger in the El Paso community, and to promote the importance of eating a healthy breakfast. A huge thank you to all!
