Charles Handley named to Becker’s Healthcare 2018 list of 150 Hospital and Health System CFOs to know

EL PASO, Texas — A Hospitals of Providence leadership team member has once again been recognized for playing an integral role in shaping and planning for the community’s healthcare needs.

Charles Handley, Group Chief Financial Officer for El Paso and Rio Grande Valley, was named to Becker’s Hospital Review list of “150 Hospital and Health System CFOs to Know for 2018”. Handley was recognized for his exceptional ability to work closely with his colleagues to ensure the highest level of care is reflected accurately in hospital reimbursements.

Handley has worked for Tenet, The Hospitals of Providence’s parent company, for more 25 years. In addition to serving as Group CFO for The Hospitals of Providence and Valley Baptist Health System, he serves as CFO for both The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus and Providence Children’s Hospital. Handley’s previous positions include serving as the CFO for hospitals in Dallas and Houston. Handley is a graduate of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
