EL PASO, Texas — The Hospitals of Providence Market CEO, Nicholas Tejeda, has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review list of “90 Healthcare Leaders Under 40”.
This prestigious list, by one of the nation’s top trade publications, honors executives and leaders whose ideas and initiatives have improved patient outcomes and care management in their community. It also recognizes innovative healthcare professionals who have overseen crucial expansion projects.
Prior to being named Market CEO, Tejeda oversaw the nation’s newest teaching hospital, The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus, a collaboration with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. The $120 million project opened in 2017.
Tejeda was named Market CEO in April 2018. In concert with a group of incredible professionals, he is working to improve the quality, safety, service and accessibility of care within The Hospitals of Providence.
