The Hospitals of Providence unveils new Breast & Women's Health Center East

Community members, leadership and staff celebrate opening during Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

EL PASO, Texas — The Hospitals of Providence welcomed the new Breast & Women’s Health Center East to its growing network of healthcare facilities in the El Paso region with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, January 24, 2019.

Breast Health Center ribbon cuttingThe Breast & Women’s Health Center East, located at 3270 Joe Battle Blvd., Suite 340-B, will now offer El Pasoans the newest cutting-edge digital technology, 3D mammography, providing clearer images to further improve the precision of breast cancer diagnoses. The center will also offer bone density exams, ultrasounds, stereotactic breast biopsies and ultrasound breast biopsies, at a convenient eastside location.

Members of the community joined The Hospitals of Providence leadership team, as well as physicians and staff, during the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

“The Hospitals of Providence Breast & Women’s Health Center East brings even more state-of-the-art health services and technology to far East El Paso,” said Monica Vargas-Mahar, Market Chief Operating Officer for The Hospitals of Providence and Chief Executive Officer for East Campus. “By providing the newest technology, we’re offering our patients the benefit of more accurate cancer detection and lower call-back rates for routine screenings, which helps lessen the anxiety and worry they may have cancer.”
