Having a baby is an exciting time. Our labor and delivery team at The Hospitals of Providence wants you to have an amazing experience. While every birth is unique, they all share one thing in common: our professional staff’s dedication to providing the best compassionate care possible for moms, their babies, and their families.

Our OB specialists and experienced labor and delivery staff are ready to serve you with warmth and understanding, as well as the expertise, technical skill, and clinical judgment that are vital to a positive delivery experience.

We offer comprehensive maternity and neonatal care for you and your baby, including:

  • A full-service maternity program for women of all ages that includes a team of professionals who are nationally certified in their specialty
  • A dedicated OB Navigator to assist mothers before, during and after child birth
  • Board Certified, OB/GYN hospitalists are available on-site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
  • Private, comfortable labor and delivery suites
  • Level IV NICU - the highest state-recognized level of neonatal intensive care unit – for premature and critically ill babies who need 24/7 monitoring and care
  • A Level IV Maternal Care Center - the highest state-recognized level of comprehensive maternal care for pregnant and postpartum patients, from those with low-risk conditions to the most complex medical, surgical and or obstetrical conditions that present a high-risk of maternal/neonatal morbidity
  • Classes and events for new moms and dads
  • Breastfeeding support & Lactation Center services
  • Continued care nursery for babies who are not critical, but may require a higher level of care than most newborns
  • Online Pre-Registration
