Dr. Sergey Shimunov is a board-certified General Surgeon with Providence Surgical Associates. He completed his surgical training at Henry Ford Health Systems in Michigan. Dr. Shimunov’s specialty focuses on minimally invasive surgery using the Da Vinci Robotic Assist Surgical System. He treats a wide spectrum of conditions including Breast Malignancies, Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal), Hernia Repair (inguinal, ventral/incisional, umbilical), and Colon Restrictions. Dr. Shimunov is a compassionate provider who strives to provide quality care to all his patients.
