As President and CEO of El Paso Electric, Ms. Tomblin brings over 30 years’ experience in the global energy industry, working throughout the U.S., Caribbean, United Kingdom, and Latin America. She was formerly recognized as an S&P Platts Global CEO of the Year. Four years into her tenure at EPE, Ms. Tomblin has led multiple key initiatives, including development of a strategic plan, smart metering, transportation electrification, and enhanced the renewable energy portfolio. Under her leadership, EPE has created a plan that is committed to 80% carbon-free energy by 2035 and pursuit of 100% decarbonization by 2045.
