David Byrd appointed as CEO for The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus

EL PASO, Texas — The Hospitals of Providence announced that David Byrd has been appointed to Chief Executive Officer for The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus. 

Byrd joined The Hospitals of Providence in 2007 and has served in multiple leadership roles across the network.  Most recently, he served as the Chief Executive Officer for The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus. In this role, he expanded and developed the Medical Residency Program to further develop medical talent for our region and additionally unveiled the newest expansion projects – The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus Outpatient Infusion Center and The Hospitals of Providence Therapy Transmountain.

Byrd holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University.  He is active in the community serving as the President of the Franklin High School Basketball Booster Club and was a graduate from the Texas Hospital Association Leadership Fellows Program.
