Known to his young patients as "Dr. Ike," Dr. Onyedika is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery with Orthopaedic Surgeons Associates. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College, and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Wayne State University. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Seattle Children's Hospital at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Onyedika is keenly aware of the difficulties faced by his young patients with Cerebral Palsy, lower extremity deformity or orthopaedic trauma.

Dr. Ike was amazing! He built such a great rapport with my son right away. Jaxson was a little nervous at first, but Dr. Ike made him feel comfortable and at ease. He took the time to answer all of his questions and clearly explain his injury in a way Jaxson could understand.Jaxson even commented on how "smart and tall" he was-but more importantly, how kind and kid-friendly he made the whole experience. That meant a lot to us as parents.I would absolutely recommend Dr. Ike to anyone needing orthopedic care! Our community is blessed to have someone who is as talented as he is with such an amazing bedside manner and what an incredible example to other young African American Males to have someone like him to look up to!

Had an excellent experience with the entire staff starting with the appointment clerk, who got my son a same day appointment. To the front desk receptionist that was extremely helpful and stayed on the phone with my PCP til she got my insurance authorization number. To Dr. Oneydika who was amazing and answered all of our questions patiently and just ensuring my son got the best care possible. And last but not definitely not least the discharge clerk who took the time to help me get a follow up appt and all the proper documentation I needed for my son's school. Really just a pleasant experience all around.
