My primary goal was to have a PAP smear (labs) but we did discuss other issues and the PA was knowledgeable and professional. I am not certain how earnestly she considered my comments about privacy (re asking patients sensitive questions in the hallway where others could overhear conversations) or information safety (protection of my personal medical information from overreaching Texas politicians). It is for that reason I do not know whether I will return for my exam next year, or seek care in another state.
