I always have an excellent experience in any dealings or interactions when it comes to Dr. Abraham Gonzalez, as well as his medical assistant and his clinic staff. Dr. Abraham Gonzalez is a gifted genius, empathetic, and is able to communicate and approach my self care requirements, as well as his treatment plans, in a manner that improves my quality of life. His bedside manner is so unique in this day and age. I know he cares for each patient he treats and I'm very lucky to have him as my cardiologist. His staff is efficient and knowledgeable as well. The clinic staff works hard to keep Dr. Gonzalez's office running smoothly, they seem to know everyone's name upon entry, the check out/referral/follow up process is always well planned, and they are always very welcoming. 5 STARS for Dr. ABRAHAM GONZALEZ and staff!!!!!

Two and one-half years ago Dr. Gonzalez saved me from having a massive heart attack by immediately inserting a stent in my RCA. He is an outstanding physician who helped me adopt healthy habits and guided me through my recovery. Today I am in better shape than I was 20 years ago. Despite living in Albuquerque I make the drive to El Paso to receive the outstanding care provided by the Center.

During my exam Dr. Gonzalez felt that it would be wise to have an ultrasound of my carotid artery. I did not have an appointment for this procedure but the staff saw to it that I was able to have this imaging done immediately. Randy conducted the exam and was terrific.

While I highly recommend the El Paso Heart Center to friends, and family. I would strongly recommend they ensure 200% that diagnostics tests have been seen by the doctor and receive a copy of all diagnostic tests. A HUGE lessons learned for myself. I would recommend my incident be used as a TRAINING for Staff responsible in receiving diagnostic test reports and ensuring DOCTOR has seen and read and follow-up disposition is made upon receipt of test results when there is a concern and NOT rely on "assumption" that Lab will send out reports to all of the Patient's medical team.
