I have had a scary, paroxysmal high blood pressure condition that lead to diastolic heart failure. I had been everywhere, including Mayo, and nobody could get the blood pressure under control...until I came to Dr. Assi. I didn't feel like anyone even cared or listened to me. Dr. Assi heard me and got the blood pressure stabilized immediately, though the damage had already been done. He saved my immediate life. I am sure of that. I already highly recommend him to people looking for a cardiologist. I drive in from Alamogordo, and it is absolutely worth the trouble.

The staff was a bit over the top with the mask situation. I have breathing issues to to missing part of a lung. I was wearing a mask I had made. After a while they finally accepted this. I get the whole mask thing. But the mandate on masks was lifted a long time ago. I get it is the Dr.s right in his office , but at least they were eventually accepting of my mask of which even that I pull away from my face when I wear it to breath right. I hold no grudges!!
