Heart & Vascular Treatments

A Range of Treatment Options

Upon diagnosis, your cardiologist may recommend an “interventional”— or minimally invasive — cardiac service, which we can perform in one of our four advanced cardiac catheterization labs. We offer angioplasty, stenting and placement of pacemakers and defibrillators.

If surgery is required, our skilled cardiovascular team can perform a range of procedures in our state-of-the-art operating rooms. Many surgical procedures are less invasive, which can lead to improved outcomes. Our surgeons are experienced in:

  • Coronary artery bypass, including minimally invasive triple bypass
  • Heart valve repairs and replacements
  • Aneurysm repairs
  • Carotid endarterectomy (removal of plaque buildup in the carotid arteries)
  • Surgery to repair a narrowing of the aortic valve opening
  • Highly precise surgery for complex blood vessel disorders
  • Chest Pain Program

Heart Failure Program

Our team is experienced with all stages of heart failure and advanced disease management interventions. The Heart Failure Program includes telephone follow-ups and access to a cardiologist who is trained in the latest heart failure treatments, and educational programs on medication, diet and exercise.

Structural Heart Disease Program

Our Structural Heart Disease Program specializes in offering minimally invasive treatments for patients who don’t require the conventional open-heart surgery. Potential benefits include less scarring, less blood loss, less pain and a quicker recovery.

Comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

Heart patients have access to our comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program, which includes a combination of exercise, education and support to help you make healthy changes and maintain a full and active lifestyle.
