Breast cancer is one of the most common causes of death for women in the United States. Leading risk factors including advanced age and family history may increase the likelihood of its occurrence. Each year, around 200,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed.

If you are a woman over 40 years old, you should receive a mammogram every year. Breast cancer can occur at any age, but it is more likely to occur after age 40. The earlier the diagnosis, the better your chance for survival.

We partner with The Hospitals of Providence imaging centers, which meet the standards of the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.

Dr. Monica Jordan is a compassionate surgeon specializing in the latest procedures to address breast cancer, lesions and benign tumors in both men and women. Dr. Jordan is fellowship-trained in breast surgery and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. She strives to provide the highest level of care to all patients and offers oncoplastic breast surgery as one of the most effective treatment options for breast cancer.
