Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Performance in Environmental Compliance

The Memorial Campus was awarded this certificate by the Industrial Pretreatment Section of the El Paso Water Utilities for 100% compliance with the Rules and Regulations of the Industrial Pretreatment Program during the 2011–2012 pretreatment year.

Lifeline Bronze Receiving Quality Achievement Award

ACC HeartCARE Center Designation

One of only 10 hospitals in the nation to receive ACC HeartCARE Center Designation, The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus was recognized by the American College of Cardiology for its commitment to consistent, high-quality cardiovascular care. The hospital was the first in the region and one of only ten hospitals nationwide to receive this achievement.

Advanced Certification for Comprehensive Stroke Center

The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus earned Advanced Certification for Comprehensive Stroke Center, recognizing its ability to meet guidelines required for treatment of the most serious stroke events. Comprehensive Stroke Centers offer state-of-the-art infrastructure, staff, and training to treat patients with complex strokes.

Level II Trauma Designation

The Hospitals of Providence East Campus is recognized as a Major Level II Trauma Center by the Texas Department of State Health Services. This designation underscores our commitment to providing exceptional, life-saving care to critically injured patients through rapid and specialized treatment.

Level III Trauma Designation

Providence Memorial Campus is recognized as a Level III Trauma Center by the Texas Department of State Health Services, reflecting its commitment to accepting higher-acuity trauma patients and delivering appropriate, timely care.

Level IV Maternal Designation

The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus is designated a Level IV Maternal Care Center—the highest designation possible by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Level IV Maternal Care Centers provide comprehensive care for pregnant and postpartum patients, from low-risk to the most complex medical, surgical, or obstetrical conditions.

Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus is designated a Level IV NICU by the Texas Department of State Health Services—the highest designation available. Level IV NICUs provide comprehensive, 24/7 care for premature and critically ill infants requiring advanced medical support.
