OB/GYN Care Available 24/7 at The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus and East Campus
We have partnered with OB Hospitalist Group, a dedicated OB/GYN hospital provider, to add a layer of safety for new moms who deliver at Memorial Campus and East Campus. The OB/GYN hospitalist program allows hospital-based, OB/GYN physicians (hospitalists) to focus on providing consistent care to patients in the hospital, as well as emergent care to those arriving in Labor and Delivery.Our shared goal is to elevate the standard of women’s healthcare by ensuring expectant mothers are evaluated and treated by a physician regardless of time, location, complication or circumstance.

Board Certified, OB/GYN hospitalists are available on-site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.In the event that your primary physician is not available when you arrive at Labor and Delivery, your OB/GYN hospitalist can:
- Coordinate care with your primary physician
- Evaluate the progress of your labor
- Review test results and fetal heart rate tracings
- Stay on top of any programs that may be evolving
- Peace of mind for unanticipated deliveries or emergencies
