Below, you will find a list of trusted organizations that offer additional support, information, and resources to help you navigate your cancer journey.

Finding strength in cancer. 

Support groups give survivors, caregivers and others a chance to bond with those going through similar cancer care struggles. Below are listings for local cancer support groups throughout El Paso. Contact each group for more information: 

The Head and Neck Cancer Community of El Paso

Organized by therapists at The Hospitals of Providence, this support group offers education and support to participants and their family members whose lives have been impacted by head and neck cancer. This group meets every other month at Memorial Campus. If you would like more information about participating, please contact Emma Mejia, Occupational Therapist at [email protected]

Cancer Support Group  

A cancer diagnosis is often one of the most stressful experiences in a person’s life.   Providing a safe place to share feelings, challenges and learning from others is a top priority for us at The Hospitals of Providence.  This general cancer support group meets the second Tuesday of every month at our Sierra campus.  For additional information, call 915-577-8442.  

American Cancer Society (ACS)

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. They offer a wealth of resources, including:

  • Cancer information and resources
  • Support programs and services
  • Research funding and advocacy efforts
  • Educational materials and events

    Rio Grande Cancer Foundation

    The Rio Grande Cancer Foundation is a local organization committed to reducing the human and economic impact of cancer on the people of El Paso. They provide:

    • Financial assistance and patient support services
    • Educational workshops and wellness programs
    • Community outreach and cancer prevention initiatives
    • Support groups and survivorship programs
    • Designated women’s cancer support group
    • T.E.A.L Fund for Hope

    Cancer and Chronic Disease Consortium (CCDC)

    The Cancer and Chronic Disease Consortium is focused on improving the health and well-being of individuals affected by cancer and chronic diseases. Their offerings include:
