The Hospitals of Providence accepts a wide variety of medical insurance plans. Following is a list of currently accepted health insurance plans. Due to recent changes, we recommend you verify your The Hospitals of Providence coverage with your carrier when making enrollment decisions and/or before you arrive at the hospital.
Unfortunately, Centene has sent a notice to terminate in-network access effective 1/1/2027 that affects our hospitals and health system–employed providers. This will impact patients who receive insurance coverage through Centene’s Health Insurance Exchange (HIX), Medicare Advantage, and Managed Medicaid plans. If you count on The Hospitals of Providence and Providence Medical Partners to serve your healthcare needs, please be aware that Superior HealthPlan, WellCare/WellCare by Allwell/Wellcare by Superior Healthplan, and Ambetter from Superior HealthPlan will no longer provide in-network coverage as of January 1, 2027.
